New this year is the "2-Mile-Smile" youth ride.  This is a ride not a race.  It will be held on a separate date, Tuesday, July 28.  Participants will get a chance to ride a part of the Tour de Tonka route just as their parents have, but on a night that is all to themselves.  The 2-Mile-Smile Ride begins and ends at Deephaven Education Center, which is the home of Minnetonka Community Education.  Eligible riders are boys and girls ages 4, 5, 6 and 7. 

The ride begins at 6:30 pm with same day registration between 5:00-6:20 pm. Or register today online! 

The schedule for the evening will be:

• 5:00-6:20     Same day registration
• 6:20             Announcements and safety information
• 6:30             6-7 year olds begin
• 6:40             5 year olds begin
• 6:45             4 year olds begin

All riders must wear a helmet.  One parent will be allowed to bike or roller-blade next to the child if needed.  No animals on a leash or motorized scooters will be allowed on the course.

The course will be a combination of city streets and gravel trails. All riders will receive a t-shirt, treats and snacks after the ride.
