Grades K-2 & 2-6

Pastels are an exciting media and Young Rembrandts step-by-step ensures dramatic and successful results.  Students will learn drawing shading, color blending with pastels by completing a new 12x18 drawing each day.  Our curriculum with be varied to ensure everyone has a “favorite” completed drawing.  We’ll work from some masters and explore the history, a pastel from drawing by observation will teach the artist how to capture reflective light, shadow, detail, etc., a landscape scene full of color, and more.  Join us for an exciting, art adventure class in pastel.  Please wear an old shirt or smock.
