Grades 6-8

Have you ever wondered what it takes to put a newspaper together? Work with energetic, seasoned high school journalists to discover the stories in your own backyard, from interesting events and people to sports and hidden haunts. This course is designed for all middle school students who are interested in expanding their writing abilities or are interested in stories and news writing.  We will write articles and design newspaper pages, in addition to practicing journalistic skills such as interviewing and researching in the field.  Students will produce a publication by the end of the week to take home with them.
