Join us for the fourth annual Tour de Tonka bike ride on Saturday, August 1. Last year 1,881 riders loved the event and I know that  you will again this year. Please consider joing us on August. 1st.

The ride will begin and end at Minnetonka High School.  There will be rest stops, bike mechanics and safety vehicles. Bring the whole family, and join friends and neighbors for this FUN annual summer event! The ride offers several new opportunities this year:

• SAVE!  Early 163 riders took advantage of early bird savings this year.
• NEW! 2-Mile-Smile Ride on Tuesday, July 28. 
• New distances
• Numerous route changes
• Legacy rider benefits (riders who have participated all three previus years)
• Groups of 10+ receive a $5 per rider discount
• More music

Register Early and SAVE:
Riders who register February 1 - March 31 will receive an early bird discount.   

Route Information:
Route distances for 2009 are:

• 16 mile family ride
• 38 mile ride
• 62 mile ride with an option to do 75 miles 
• 75 mile ride

Registration, Packet Pick-up and Check-In at Minnetonka High School:
Avoid the crowds and take advantage of prepacket pick-up and registration on Friday, July 31 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.  Same day check-in and registration will be on Saturday, August 1 from 6:00-7:00 am.  The ride begins at 7:30 am.   For up-to-date information on maps and details go to www.tourdetonka.org.

If you have not registered for Tour de Tonka in the past or have not taken a Minnetonka Community Education class, you probably do not have an existing account in our system.   Please follow the instructions below for registration.
